Budget and $3000 Deposit

Πλεονεκτήματα: We ended up not renting a car due to the deposit amonut.

Μειονεκτήματα: The agent was not clear that they would be holding a $3000 US depost on my credit card on top of the rental car fee. After charging the fee he ran my card again and it declined. We understood it would be 3000 pesos, so we were confident it would be approved. Due to them being unclear, we told them to cancel all transactions. They said they did but a $2900 hold remained on my credit card. For my whole trip in Mexico my only credit card was maxed out and I couldn’t use it for anything. This was my first time out of the US and purposely brought my credit card for emergencies, as of today the charge is still showing as pending.

Μειονεκτήματα: The location was not at the airport as stated in the confirmation. I got there and asked around and only two others were there but not budget. When I called support while I was looking for the place, I couldn't speak to anyone as some sort of password was needed (the call would auto drop)

Μειονεκτήματα: To have the real rate shown. They try d to charge me 7 times more with a hold in my cc of the total cars value.. that crazy these fraud agencies shown not be on kayak
